AAA Partners with Cruelty and then Calls it "Debatable!"

To Whom it Concerns:

I read recently on PETA.org about your association with Ringling Brothers Circus. I did send one of the automated
general messages off the PETA site to discourage you from associating with Ringling Brothers Circus, but that is so
generic that I was compelled to write myself.

Ringling Brothers is NOT an organization you want to be aligned with, especially as people become more conscious of the
animal abuses going on in the world every day.

“After 3 years working with elephants in the circus, I can tell you that they live in confinement and they are beaten all the
time when they don’t perform properly.” -Sworn testimony of former Ringling employee, Tom Rider

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) investigators found large scars on the rear legs of Doc and Angelica, two
other baby elephants. The scars were from rope burns inflicted when Ringling ripped these babies away from their
mothers as infants. The USDA found that the handling of Doc and Angelica was in violation of the Animal Welfare Act and
"caused unnecessary trauma, behavioral stress, physical harm, and discomfort to these two elephants."

Or how about Benjamin? He was a 4-month-old elephant that, during a stop in Texas, Benjamin drowned in a pond.
Elephants are usually excellent swimmers, but Benjamin had never learned to swim because he had been taken away
from his mother when he was little. One of Ringling's handlers followed the baby elephant into the pond and began
poking him with a bullhook—an instrument that Benjamin had learned to fear—and forced him into deeper water. In water
above his head and fearing he would be beaten, Benjamin drowned.

There is so much more…we could go on and on. True cases on the books and many, many testimonials and videos are
available of this horrific truth. So many injustices, so much cruelty, and many animal deaths. However, Ringling Brothers
does not seem to have any conscience about these issues, as these creatures are seen as for-profit machines. Won’t
you show some conscience and humanity and join in the boycott of Ringling Brothers until they agree to a kinder,
humane circus performance? The people sending you those messages are real people who really care.

Sincerely,

(us!)

To Whom it Concerns:

I received your reply related to offering discount tickets to the circus.

“Cinema, theater, sports, and NASCAR” are NOT associated with cruelty, nor have any of them ever been
FORMALLY CHARGED IN COURT with animal abuse (as Ringling
HAS). Guilty charges are not a “debatable”
issue. Your offering of discount tickets to a cruel & abusive form of entertainment is disgusting, and you may as
well offer discount passes to the baby seal hunt, as far as I see it! Go on YouTube and search Kay7271 channel,
watch the elephant videos, then write me a letter of support of this cruelty. YOU are responsible if you partner
(discount tickets – semantics) with these people in any way, shape, or form!

Animal abuse is NOT entertainment.

Unfortunately, we will NOT be renewing our membership (listed under ****name***). We will also certainly help
spread the word on our website and to friends your position on this matter. Our web page, in case you were
interested, is, “http://www.youcouldsavetheworld.com/AAA.html” and the heading is “AAA Partners with Cruelty
and then Calls it Debatable!”

    Very Sincerely,
